June '17 Newletter
Hello Friends,
We're excited to be part of LA Design Festival (LADF) for the second year in a row. LADF does a fantastic job highlighting what makes LA a cultural hub for the rest of the country. From IntroLA furniture expo to the ICON award-- whose recipient this year is friend Jihan, creator of Geronimo Balloons.
We'll have a selection of goods at the ATMOSPHERE pop up located at The Row in downtown LA. It's a collaboration of artists co-curated by Echo + Air, composed of designers inspired by the natural world, and the other worldly. Expect a line up of events including a sound bath, tea ceremony, live painting, haiku and poetry writing, and scented candles made just for this event. Along with ceramic wares, clothing (of course!), make up, jewelry, and more.
RSVP for free to the Atmosphere pop up below, and see the full LADF event schedule that runs June 8 - 11 here.

Young Cesar at Disney Concert Hall
For the past two months, I've been part of the team lead by costume designer Dan Selon creating and fabricating for LA's experimental opera company, The Industry. The Industry serves as an incubator for new talent and for artists in Los Angeles, while also drawing new audiences to the opera.
Founded by Yuval Sharon in 2010, The Industry has grown through collaborations with organizations such as the Los Angeles Philharmonic, Hammer Museum, and LA Dance Project,
Come join and see Young Cesar, this one time performance at Disney Concert Hall Tuesday, June 13th at 8pm! You'll be dazzled by singing, twirling dip dyed dancers, Grecian inspired togas, electric colored sheer silk robes, shadow puppetry, and the LA Philharmonic. It's wonderful to see opera expanding its repertoire and audience. We can get drinks near by after the performance.
