LA Makers at UCLA's Fowler Museum, and the Bizarre Bazaar
Happy Holidays Friends!
Just getting back from Milwaukee, Wisconsin where I grew up, and still have family. The colors of the season there were maize, grey, and blue, and happened to perfectly match the palette of my collection lately.
We're jumping right in for some great holiday markets starting this weekend. 1 on the west side of LA, and 1 on the east side. Truly hope to see you at one of these. We'll be selling festive treats such as dip dyed napkins and hand towel sets, one of a kind silk scarves, and holiday dresses.

The Westside Holiday Market at UCLA's Fowler Museum event Sunday Dec 6th will have California made goods, and organic Spanish inspired food and coffee. So excited for this beautiful venue.
The Bizarre Bazaar is in Echo Park Thursday Dec 17th. It will feature door prizes, and a raucous artist vibe as our marching band leaders Geronimo Balloons, and Otherwild head the party ;)
Both events have easy street, or lot parking.

Teaching Fashion at Woodbury University
My career took a turn in September, when a former professor asked me to teach fashion at Woodbury University in Burbank. Design, trend forecasting, merchandising, storytelling through imagery, and illustration were all part of this class called LA Fashion. I had no idea what I was getting into! It's been a rad journey to be on the other side of instruction....since I tend to see myself as the student. Working with LA's future fashion designers has been a challenging, rewarding, eye opening experience. Many thanks to the mentors that coached me.
