Store Collaboration with Orn Hansen of Portland, OR
As part of the growth this year I've begun partnering with other small businesses. The collaboration with Orn Hansen is two capsule collections available in limited quantities only through their website. The owner/ buying team Robbie and Rodelle worked with me to create pieces that captured the Orn Hansen heritage aesthetic. We used neutral linens, and cottons, as well as some hand dyed silks and cottons in these pieces. The result has been a great exploration in partnership that I hope will continue in future seasons. If you want to check out these pieces, click here. The first group has flown out of the store, and the second capsule group was just posted to their store!
Updated Website
The new website is up for viewing! Check out the new look, and stay tuned, because the webstore will be up in about a week.
Things at the new studio have been shaping up nicely as well. So many of you have come to visit and see the space as it transitions. Here's a little teaser photo. You can see my favorite downtown places to walk to from my studio on this Map. There's the new downtown Guisado's and the Uli Gelateria, Ace Hotel, and Umami burger... all within a block or two! Los Angeles has become the center of many creative circles. I've relied on the advice and support of many friends who have their own small businesses. See what some of them are up to:
