This drapey tee is cut from hand painted rayon.  One of kind painted composition created by artist Dani Schafer in her Wisconsin studio.  The colors are vibrant and soft greens and greys on stark white. Tee shape is boxy, with peek-a-boo shoulder. An easy casual shape that goes with a cardigan, and jeans, or cropped pants, and high tops.

Dani Schafer is a Wisconsin based artist who creates expressive, process-based abstract paintings. "My work is gestural and abstract, with negative space grazing the edges of each work to allow the eye to travel. "

Dani and Jill began a dialogue about work and life first through Instagram, and then as 'pen pals' between Wisconsin and California.  Over the past two years their approach to work, color story, and artist expression grew into this collaborative project, the Painter's Blouse.  Jill on Dani: "The movement and energy of Dani's work is like a dance captured on canvas."
